No-Go Area

In December Sideburn went to the new Monday Mo Co shop in Birmingham for a low-key shindig and mag launch. Little did we know we were braving a Al Qaeda hot spot, a no-go area for non-Muslims and were at risk from a beat down from a 'police' force enforcing sharia law. If only we'd seen this well-informed and expertly researched Fox News report before (below).

We weren't the only people to dodge the fundamentalist snipers' tracer fire and flag-burning mobs. Luke came down to check out the scene and wrote a little report for We Are Union. These photos are from there.

We steer clear of politics on this blog, but in all seriousness, watch the clip below and realise it's not a joke.
It's obvious all mainstream news is some kind of propaganda, but can you believe the shit fed by 'serious' news channels.

Birmingham is great! Long live Monday Mo Co, too. G

This was fox news!.
They can find anybody to say anything they like, I don't think many would regard it as valid opinion however.....!!

Fox "News' is one of the main reasons I quit watching television several years ago when my old TV/VCR combo bit the dust...and after watching that little snippet of Bullsheet...I don't think I'll bother getting another TV...

That made me quite annoyed . I'm not sure if metastasising is a real word but spell check just recognised it. That lady was like a cross eyed Ron Burgandy.

i think you are missing the most important issue here folk's, i mean, that record deck is a joke! whatever happened to sl-1210's? the dj's weapon of choice? look at the speaker wire for fuck's sake! like the aluminium centre though, might have to turn one of those up, i'm still using those 'spongebob squarepants' plastic things to play my northern soul imports.....

If there's a point being missed, I think you're missing it Mr Loveless.

In a similar vein I enjoyed the chopperwhopper.

Reckon we should all make it up as we go along. Oh right, I already do.

It is a dangerous world. Why you ask? because most people believe what the TV tells them to believe.
